Characters - Chang Merian
Merian was Wufei's wife before Operation Meteor began. She lived by a strict code of honor and trained hard in martial arts to become strong, and she criticized her husband for his love of scholarly enrichment. In order to prove her strength, Merian took the Shenlong Gundam into battle before Operation Meteor was launched, but sustained wounds that would later kill her. She nicknamed herself "Nataku" after a Chinese Goddess during this mission. As a result, Wufei often refers to his Gundam as "Nataku", in memory of his wife.
