Relena is the heroine of the show; a young, headstrong girl who follows her adopted father's teachings of pacifism (and in turn, her real father's teachings). She is completely against the idea of war, so of course this means she's going to fall for the hero of the story...who happens to be none other than a ruthless Gundam pilot trying to start the war. However, without Relena, the earth and the colonies would be a worse battleground than they already are in the series. She starts out as the daughter of a pacifist ambassador, goes on to claim her true identity as the daughter of a pacifist nation, then becomes Queen of the World for Romefeller, and finally ends up the ambassador to space in her adopted father's footsteps.
