Characters - General Septem
This Alliance General is all for war with the colonies, but in reality he's blind to everything going on around him. Treize uses him as a pawn, separating Septem from Marshall Noventa at the Edward's Base meeting, and after Marshall Noventa's ship is destroyed, Treize and Une order Septem to deliver a special message to the Earth and the Colonies stating that war is inevitable and the colonies will pay for their actions. Afterwards, Une drops Septem out of Treize's plane, and shoots him through the head as he falls.
General Septem also has a son in the Alliance Military, and he appears later in the anime on the space colonies. Unlike his father, the second Septem is more mild-tempered and concerned with peace.
