Duke Dermail is Treize Kushrenada's brother and one of the leaders of Romefeller. An old aristocrat and Dorothy Catalonia's relation, he favors war and leads Romefeller in the direction Treize dislikes - by putting mobile dolls into use instead of man-piloted mobile suits.
Tsubarov is also a member of the Romefeller Foundation, though much more ruthless than any of the other characters are. He is put in charge of overseeing the mobile doll construction on the lunar base, and the Gundam Scientists eventually fall into his realm. He locks all of them - plus several of the Gundam pilots - into cells, then shuts off their air supply in hopes of killing them all. Lady Une sets all of them free, but Tsubarov tries to kill her in the process and seriously wounds her. He is killed later in the series.
