In AC 191 Relena's mother, Mrs. Dorlian, tells her to have a nice day. But Relena does not reply, she merely leavse, and Mrs. Dorlain wonders if the events of Relena's childhood still haunt her. At school, Relena's classmates greet her and admire her, but Relena says nothing.
Outside the school gates however, she notices a young boy standing around. The other girls in the class notice him too and wish the school wouldn't take in any more war orphens. Relena becomes upset and walks out, and wonders why her classmates look down on people less fortunate than they are. Later in the hallway, Relena runs into this boy and he picks up her books. He looks a lot like Heero Yuy and some say he might be the same person, but there is no record of his name nor is their record of Heero being on Earth before AC 195.
That afternoon Relena finds the boy outside and decides to apologize for running into him earlier. But she overhears him talking on a transmitter, and he tells someone that his name is Black Alpha and the Dorlian Estate will make a good refuge if the school doesn't work. Relena is shocked. Later she seems him sitting by himself, and she wonders why they seem so much alike.
That day, a terrorist organization called the Earth Alliance attacked a base at the JAP point in the Pacific Ocean. The Specials report to combat. Treize Kushrenada says that General Catalonia wants to see their mobile suit skill as well as Officer Zechs Merquise's skill. Zechs says he hopes he lives up to expectations. Treize asks Zechs to take care of the problem in under three minutes, and Zechs says that he only needs one minute. Treize realizes it's not just talk and declares that Zechs fights like lightening. One rebel soldier tries to escape, and Zechs chases after him.
At the Dorlian Estate, Mrs. Dorlian is warned by the Alliance that rebel terrorists have escaped to that area. Relena goes for a walk, trying to make sense of this. She wonders why people are always fighting, but she says that the boy had nothing to do with the attack after all. Just as she thinks this, the rebel suit crashes and the pilot sees Relena. At first he thinks she's just a kid, but then he realizes she's the Dorlian's daughter. He grabs her and puts a gun to her head. Relena, afraid she's going to die, looks up and sees a shooting star. The pilot doesn't kill her, but mutters they're after him, and he takes off with her in hand.
As he starts to cross a street with Relena, Zechs lands in front of him, and the rebel announces that if Zechs moves, Relena will die. Zechs, shocked to find his sister, does as the rebel asks and gets out of his mobile suit. However, Zechs fires and shoots the man's gun away and tells him he won't kill in front of Relena, and demands the rebel leave. The man runs away, leaving Zechs and Relena alone.
Zechs has a few flashbacks and in a bittersweet way thinks how much his sister has grown, but Relena isn't impressed with the military soldier in front of her. Realizing her annoyance, he puts his gun away and tells himself that Milliardo has no right to touch her anymore since he is no longer a Peacecraft and taken the bloody path of revenge and weapons. He asks if she's okay and mistakeningly calls her a Princess.
Surprised, Relena wants to know if he's a knight on a terrible dragon. Zechs shrugs and says he's a Prince of the Stars. As people come to Relena's aid, Zechs excuses himself and backs out of the picture. But Relena is left with the memory of him and wonders who he is.
At school the next day, her classmates announce that the mysterious boy disappeared. The other girls say he was part of the terrorist group. Furious at them, Relena sees the boy quietly leaving the school and runs after him to ask for his friendship. But as she gets to the gates, he's gone again, and she sighs and says she should have asked his name. She decides she should have done so by saying, "My name is Relena Dorlian. What's yours?".
