Gundams
Wing Gundam
Pilot: Heero Yuy
Registry Number: XXXG-01W
Height: 16.3 M
Weight: 7.1 tons
Material: Gundanium Alloy
The Wing Gundam uses a mix of weapons from all four other Gundams, creating an ultimate fighting machine. It has the ability to transform between bird-mode and mobile suit-mode, and it comes with weapons such as a beam canon, beam saber and buster shield. The Wing Gundam is actually "destroyed" some three times - Heero first dropped it into the ocean, then self-destructed it, and it was finally destroyed by Libra's beam canon when Lady Une saved Treize in it.
Gundam Deathscythe
Pilot: Duo Maxwell
Registry Number: XXXG-01D
Height: 16.3 M
Weight: 7.2 tons
Material: Gundanium Alloy
The second Gundam is Deathscythe, featuring stealth technology and a thermal scythe beam that'll cut through just about anything. It also comes with the standard double machine guns, buster shield and a radio jammer. It was destroyed halfway through the series by Trowa, after Duo had been captured by OZ.
Gundam Heavyarms
Pilot: Trowa Barton
Registry Number: XXXG-01H
Height: 16.7 M
Weight: 7.t tons
Material: Gundamium Alloy
The third Gundam is Heavyarms, and it's definitely named appropriately. It's not meant for mobility at all - but that doesn't matter; Heavyarms holds enough ammunition to destroy just about anything. It features a canon machine gun, chest machine guns, an energy machine gun, 24 short-range scrambler missiles and 6 heat-seeking missiles. It's the only original Gundam that was never destroyed in the series.
Gundam Sandrock
Pilot: Quatre Winner
Registry Number: XXXG-01SR
Height: 16.5 M
Weight: 7.5 tons
Material: Gundanium Alloy
The fourth Gundam is Sandrock, and like Heavyarms it's built for ground battle and not mobility. The main weapons are two large energy sickles, pistol-like weapons called Vulcans, the standard machine guns and a large shield on the left arm. Quatre self-detonates his Gundam during the Singapore battle, but it is rebuilt by the Maguanac Corps and adjusted for space battle.
Shenlong Gundam
Pilot: Chang Wufei
Registry Number: XXXG-01S
Height: 16.4 M
Weight: 7.4 tons
Material: Gundanium Alloy
The fifth Gundam is Shenlong, and it was built with a slender body for close range combat and martial arts moves - exactly the way Wufei uses it. Featuring a dragon claw, flame thrower and a beam Glaive for close combat. Wufei destroyed his own Gundam in an attempt to escape OZ.
Gundam Deathscythe Hell
Pilot: Duo Maxwell
Registry Number: XXXG-01D2
Height: 16.3
Weight: 7.4
Material: Gundanium Alloy
Built by the Gundam scientists as a replacement for Duo's destroyed Deathscythe, D-Hell quickly becomes a favorite Gundam in the series. It gets some upgrades - like the armor shields on the front of the chest and a double scythe beam.
Altron Gundam
Pilot: Chang Wufei
Registry Number: XXXG-01S2
Height: 16.4 M
Weight: 7.5 tons
Material: Gundanium Alloy
Like D-Hell, Altron was built as a replacement for Wufei's destroyed Shenlong Gundam. Keeping the dragon theme, Altron features two dragon claws and a double beam trident. It carries a bit more firepower too - twin Vulcan canons and Plasma Rifles only enable it to defeat everything except Heero Yuy.
Gundam Wing ZERO
Pilot: Heero Yuy (Quatre Winner, Zechs Merquise, Duo Maxwell, Trowa Barton, Chang Wufei).
Registry Number: XXXG-00W0
Height: 16.7 M
Weight: 8 tons
Material: Gundanium Alloy
ZERO was the Gundam that was never supposed to be. It was the original Gundam planned by all five scientists, but they decided the system was too powerful for a pilot. Quatre discovered the plans during his laspe of logical thinking and builds the infamous Gundam, and the system proves as dangerous as the scientists' predicted. Throughout the series, every Gundam pilot (and at least one OZ pilot) gets the chance to have a go in ZERO, but its Heero Yuy who manages to fully use the system and the Gundam to its greatest potential.
Gundam Epyon
Pilot: Zechs Merquise (Heero Yuy)
Registry Number: OZ-13MS
Height: 17.4 M
Weight: 8.5 tons
Material: Gundanium Alloy
Epyon was another Gundam that shouldn't have been. Originally built by Treize to manipulate and push Heero Yuy to his limit, the Gundam was enstalled with a ZERO system and built on Earth. Interestingly enough, though Heero can master the Wing ZERO's system, he can't fully master the Eypon's system. Because Wing ZERO was built in space, and Eypon was built on Earth by Treize, it takes an Earth-born pilot to fully master the deadly Epyon...so Zechs and Heero trade off, and Zechs proves he's up to Eypon's challenge. Aside from the mind-affecting system, Epyon also features unique weapons to keep it at a special status - a long whip of heat rods, a beam saber and incredibly quick speed and agility, and bird-mode gives Epyon the ability to be used on either Earth or in Space. One assumes it was destroyed at the end of the Gundam Wing...but it's never really verified if it was destroyed or if Zechs saved it and hid it.
Vayeate
Pilot: Trowa Barton, Doll System
Registry Number: OZ-13MSX1
Height: 16.3
Weight: 7.3
Material: Gundanium Alloy
One of two Gundams built under Lady Une's instruction, the Vayeate was created specifically for OZ and the mobile doll system. When coupled with it's sister-suit, the Mercurius, the two are a nearly unstoppable team. Trowa Barton became the test pilot for the Vayeate, which features a mobile design and firepower.
Mercurius
Pilot: Heero Yuy, Doll System
Registry Number: OZ-13MSX2
Height: 16.3
Weight: 7.3
Material: Gundanium Alloy
The second of the two Gundams built under Lady Une's instruction by the Gundam scientists, the Mercurius is the offense of the team, featuring an energy shield that's nearly impossible to break through. It allows its partner, the Vayeate, to attack while it defends. Both Gundams are programmed with Heero and Trowa's data...but interestingly enough, both are defeated by Duo Maxwell in the final battle, even though Heero and Trowa rank higher in combat skill than he does.
Titanium Alloy Suits
Tallgeese
Pilot: Zechs Merquise
Registry Number: OZ-00MS
Height: 17.4 M
Weight: 8.8 tons
Material: Titanium Alloy
The proto-type for the Gundams was the Tallgeese - a massive suit that was never completed because it was deemed impossible to pilot because of its size and speed. It was repaired and completed under Zechs instruction, and though it takes him a while, he finally masters the suit. It features a beam Dober Gun and a beam saber, as well as a speed that manages to kill a pilot or two.
Tallgeese II
Pilot: Treize Kushrenada
Registry Number: OZ-00MS2
Height: 17.4 M
Weight: 8.8 tons
Material: Titanium Alloy
The second Tallgeese gets an upgrade for the final battle. Treize slaps a new coat of blue paint on the thing and some heavy armor before taking it up to space. The Tallgeese II was destroyed in the final battle.
Tallgeese III
Pilot: Zechs Merquise/Preventer Wind
Registry Number: OZ-00MS2B
Height: 17.4 M
Weight: 8.2 tons
Material: Titanium Alloy
The final Tallgeese appears in Endless Waltz, when Zechs somehow gets a hold of the remains and upgrades it one last time. It may be a little stocker than the previous versions, but that doesn't stop Tallgeese v3.0 from moving faster than everything else in sight. With the same beam saber, vulcan canons, a heat rod and a mega canon, it's no wonder Lady Une agrees to let Zechs help out against Dekim. But though the most of the Gundams were destroyed at the end of the OAV, it's unclear whether Zechs destroyed his final mobile suit or not. Sound familiar?
Sanc's White Taurus
Pilot: Lucrezia Noin
Registry Number: SK-12SMS
Height: 16.8
Weight: 7.9 tons
Material: Titanium Alloy
Under Noin's instruction, the Sanc Kingdom formed a secret army of 12 white Taurus suits. Only one seemed to have made it out of the Sanc Battle - Noin's personal suit - and she uses it throughout the final battle of the series. It features a beam canon and a beam rifle. Later, Noin defies the Earth's Sphere Unifed Nations' demand that all mobile suits should be destroyed, and she keeps her trademark Taurus to use in the battle against Dekim Barton and Mariamaia.
Serpent Customs
Pilot: Barton Foundation Soldiers
Registry Number: XXXG-01SC2
Height: 16.6
Weight: 8.6
Material: Neo-Titanium Alloy
These mobile suits were used by Mariamaia's forces. They feature missiles, double gatlin guns and a beam canon. Most of them were destroyed by Zechs, but several made it to earth.
Virgo
Pilot: Doll System
Registry Number: OZ-02MD
Height: 16.5
Weight: 7.4
Material: Titanium Alloy
Virgo was one of the mobile dolls used by OZ.
Virgo II
Pilot: Doll System
Registry Number: OZ-03MD
Height: 16.3
Weight: 7.9
Material: Titanium Alloy
Virgo II was an upgrade of the first, and continued to use the mobile doll system.
Various OZ Suits
Aries
One of OZ's mobile suits and named after the zodiac sign. It has very little effective armor and is meant for guerilla warfare and quick combat.
Cancer
One of OZ's mobile suits and named after the zodiac sign. It's also one of two underwater suits. It's used for low-level combat missions and normally employed for underwater wreckage and salvaging.
Pisces
The second of OZ's underwater mobile suits and named after the zodiac sign. It's used for
attacking and underwater combat.
Leo
Named after the zodiac sign, the Leo is OZ's standard ground fighting mobile suit. It's
sturdier than Aries but more sluggish. It can also support various weapons, from beam sabers
to canons.
Taurus
The space-based OZ mobile suit is named after the zodiac and can be used on earth or in space.
There are two versions - black and white - both come with standard buster canon and are OZ's top
models.
