Why a GW Site?
At one time, Gundam Wing was had a huge fandom on the net, with thousands of sites dedicated to characters and the series. However, over the past 12 years, sites have vanished, people have moved on to other animes, and I noticed a lack of general information sites for the series. I originally maintained a Duo Maxwell site called "Hell 02 Pay", so I transformed that site into WR.
Why did you title it "White Reflection"?
I know - it's not very original. But I thought it was a good title for a general info GW site, so I used it. At least I didn't make a layout with that picture of Lady Une, with her hair blowing in the wind from Tallgeese III's touchdown in the Preventer parking lot, right? I swore I never would do that, and I did, with Layout #13 (ironic, I know). I wanted a challenge. That was it.
What color are Duo's Eyes??
For God's sake, DO NOT email me to inform me what color Duo's eyes are. You wouldn't believe the people who've dropped me a line to say I have it listed wrong on his character bio by listing his eyes as "blue" instead of "amythest". I own several Gundam Wing books, all of which are official, and they list his eye color as BLUE. However, I'm not BLIND - I know in most images they appear violet. I list both colors now to avoid the plague of rabid fans who think I'm not a "true" fan because I don't know what color his eyes are. On this same note, I'm perfectly aware that Catherine does not have any pupils. -_-;;;
Are the pictures free to take?
The galleries here at White Reflection were comprised of images from hundreds of galleries and sites across the web spanning the past decade. I just kept collecting them until I had over 800 on my hard drive (as of March 2008, I have 840 images in my galleries), so I have no idea where they all came from. All I ask is that you don't steal all of them and put them in your gallery and call it yours, and it'd be a nice gesture if you linked back to me if you use an image you didn't have.
Why do you have so many pictures of Duo and not nearly the same amount for the other pilots??? I want more [insert character name here]!!
The reason I have five times as many images of Duo than any other character is because I used to maintain a Duo Maxwell shrine. Since I've put up White Reflection, I've tried to find as many images of the other characters as I can, but GW has been off the air for quite a few years now, and it's getting more difficult to find good images. If you have any you want to donate, feel free to send them my way and I'll be glad to give you credit for sending them in to WR.
Does this site contain YAOI?
Not really. This site is meant to be an informational site for GW, not a site dedicated to Heero and Duo's undying love.
Did you steal anything from other people's pages?
I've tried not to, because I feel that's wrong. However, there is bound to be some sort of
crossover due to so many anime sites being out there on the web. The layout and site idea was
my own, however.
If I hate your site, can I flame you?
Hey, that's your business. I honestly could care less if you stoop low to flame someone and
waste your own time doing it. The likely possibility is that I'll delete the flame without
second thought and not care one way or the other about it, so really, you'll have comletely
wasted your time in doing so.
